Pechuga mezcal is more than a process—it's an ancestral tradition. It involves adding a blend of fruits (apples, bananas, nuts, peppers, and more) to the distillation process in our pots, as well as placing the emblematic chicken breast inside the pot. This creates a shock and temperature change during distillation, resulting in special flavor notes. This edition is typically crafted during the Day of the Dead (Dia de Muertos) season or for special traditional occasions.
Tasting Notes: Characteristic yet balanced smokiness, sweet fruit notes like apple, pepper, and the sweet taste of agave. It has a dense and smooth body on the palate.
